Terry Oates

Head of Law

Terry Oates is the Head of Announcer Law, and the senior lawyer in the group. Terry has over 40 years experience as a practicing lawyer, and lecturer at TAFE affiliated with  Wollongong University  and joined Announcer in 2008.

Prior to joining Announcer Terry was the principal of T.W. Oates & Associates  in Bowral for 26 years, then becoming a Director of Stacks the Law Firm. Terry moved to Sydney to take a position in YWS in Macquarie Street, before launching Announcer Law in 2008.

Terry is a specialist in Property Law, ranging from conveyancing to more complex matters.  Terry brings a wealth of experience to the Group and enjoys achieving common goals with our clients.

Qualifications

  • Admitted as a solicitor in 1973 with continuous experience as a sole practioner, partner in incorporated legal practices.
  • Terry Oates is trading as Announcer Law and is a member of the Law Society of N.S.W.
